Theme name: Narasimha Author: Spearhead mailto: td@music-satellite.de Creation date: April 17 1999 Theme Handler version: 0.4.2 AfterStep version: 1.6.10 Narasimha theme - April 17 1999 This theme was created using theme.handler-0.4.2 and AfterStep 1.6.10 (with --no_pager). To install it, copy the tarball to your ~/GNUstep/Library/AfterStep/desktop/themes directory untar it and do a: $ installastheme.pl --theme Narasimha --no_pager You should also comment out *WharfNoBorder in your wharf file because the tiles were made for use with this borders. If you use more than one pager you also have to set the background image for the other pagers. I choose the --no_pager option because theme.handler is messing up the fonts in there and you might want to keep your colors for fg-bg. You can also install it without theme handler, just copy the files to their correct places (look file, background, icons, buttons) and edit your wharf file to use the icon that comes with the theme. Anyway, theme.handler will make it more easy. The background image is 1152x864. I don't know who made this picture, I took it from the Cro-Mags record "Best Wishes" it is called "The Bhaktivedanta Book Trust" (or similar) and as far as I know it shows Narasimha (or Nrsimha) the 4th avatar of Vishnu, he is known for his ferocity and his gentleness with his devotees. So it's not for commercial use. The 'eire' font is from http://rover.wiesbaden.netsurf.de/~kikita/font.htm It doesn't really fit, I think, but it was the most fitting free font I found so far that is still readable. On the screenshot are only some apps to show the title-bars, buttons and text. The left aterm window is sticky, the shaded windows are inactive and the lower aterm has the focus. I think you are interested in the theme and not in what I am doing ;) Enjoy. Spearhead
